Mysore Bananas

The coffee shop across the way has a banana plantation where they apparently grow 25 varieties. I bought these today. Once they've ripened, these will be the first non-Cavendish bananas (plantain chips aside) I've ever tried. Serious Eats has an interesting article about banana varieties. Eat local!
